$100 Grant Available for an Eagle Project

Several years ago a few leaders (Terry Bartley, Captain Keith Warner, and Walt Scowden) put together the Harford District Eagle Scout Honor Guard. This unit was used for ceremonies and to march in parades. The unit disbanded last year. There is $100.00 left in the checking for the unit and Terry, Keith and Walt have decided to assist an Eagle Scout Project with a $100 Grant.

The scout must submit a short essay requesting the funds and describing how the money would be used via e-mail to Walt Scowden at: wscowden@verizon.net.
They must submit the approved Project Proposal with all signatures (scanned copy).
The scout will also need to fill out the Fundraising application to request the grant. I can sign after all other signatures have been captured.

This must be submitted no later than July 4, 2014.

The essay will be reviewed and decision made by July 19, 2014.
Thank you for your attention and assistance.

Sincerely Yours in Scouting,

Walt Scowden
