Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) training schedule for Fall, 2014

IOLS (Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills) needs to be done in person. Typically, districts do a training session in the fall, and another in the spring, and it’s hard to fit into busy schedules So, here’s a heads-up on the IOLS training opportunities this fall.

Harford District will be doing their IOLS training October 24-26, with a required Orientation session on October 4th, all at Broadcreek.

National Pike District training will be September 19-20, and you can get more information at http://www.baltimorebsa.org/event/1456900

Tools

Click to Download Jacob Murdock Tool List

DJ Winters is the tool coordinator for my project. Please contact him with the type and quantity of the tool you are volunteering. Make sure to label all tools with your name before bringing them to a work day. If you cannot attend a work day, feel free to still volunteer a tool. Once again, keep a look out for a tool list email coming tonight.

Does anybody have a mechanical auger that could handle digging a 34″ deep 12″ diameter hole? That is the dimension of the holes that must be dug for the bench support posts. Contact me directly if you are willing to volunteer an auger.
