Scouting for Food and Pack 899’s Blue and Gold are coming up on March 5 and March 12.

This is a great opportunity for scouts to meet the new BSA Rank Advancement Service requirements. Not only are you doing a good turn for our community and Pack 899, you are helping yourself advance to the next rank. A win-win opportunity all-around.

March 5 and March 12 – Scouting for Food – 9:00 – 11:00 (or whenever finished your area) – Remember being a Tiger Cub and getting so excited as you went on a “treasure hunt” for food? Relive your childhood as we distribute bags on 3/5 and pick up food on 3/12. We also need adults to sign up as drivers and a few to help @ FUMC Food Pantry to accept, mark and sort the food! March 12 – Blue and Gold – Volunteer for 1 or more shifts anytime between 3:30 and 6:30. Proudly wear your Class A uniform and be a positive role model to the Cub Scouts in Pack 899. There are a different volunteer jobs – so sign up early to get your choice. Click here for details and to sign up for the Blue and Gold: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4ca9a72ba4f94-20161
